The Mepro Micro RDS serves as the main aiming sight for handguns or as a backup sight for rifles, offering fast target acquisition at close distances. The Mepro Micro RDS with its large display window and clearly defined red-dot ensures rapid target acquisition with both eyes open. Provides higher precision and instant target acquisition with a 3 MOA. The ability to shoot with both eyes open increases situational awareness and makes it easier for long-range engagement.

    The VP40 is my first pistol with a red dot sight. I did a lot of research and decided on the Meprolight MicroRDS as no milling of the slide is required and the adapter serves as a self illuminated backup sight (just like the sights I had on before), only better. The MicroRDS is easy to sight-in with the DoubleShoot app and after three rounds of shooting I could not be happier with the results. After I sighted it in at 10yds, a friend shot with it and made the bulls-eye disappear from the target! I was even on at 25yds with an acceptable group size. The adapter/backup sights are also excellent as I was right on target with half of the target above the sight dots (this was a problem with my old sights as I had to let the target disappear to hit which made it inaccurate). The quick detach feature is also remarkable. The price is definitely justified for this outstanding product. Replacing the old sight with the new adapter set by a gunsmith is recommended.
