Description

An exciting new offering as a joint collaboration from the widely renowned pistol smith Lazy Wolf Guns & HK Parts! This custom spring was designed exclusively by master trigger smith Rick Holm at LWG where his custom spring line is used in all of his high-grade custom Heckler & Koch action jobs for more than 4 years.

Appropriate for use in competition or defensive pistols for maximum trigger pull weight reduction. This spring bridges the gap between the 10lb and the 12lb pound hammer springs, offering the end-user more ability to fine-tune the break weight of a pistol. Used with light springs through the rest of the pistol will drop the single action break weight to approximately 3.75-4lbs (SA/DA & LEM), and 8.5-9lbs on the double action.

Works in both LEM models and standard Non-LEM models alike.

Fits ALL of the following SA/DA & LEM variants & models below:

  • HK P30, P30S, P30L
  • HK45, HK45 Tactical
  • ALL USP Full-Size Models
  • All USP Compact Models
  • All USP Tactical, Elite, Expert Models
  • HK P2000

Please note: This spring can be used with both soft and hard primers with reliable detonation. Actual trigger pull weights will vary depending on any number of unique pistol variables.

Will not fit the following below:P2000SK, P30SK, HK45C, HK45C Tactical, Mark 23 or VP series of pistols. See these pistol sections for other hammer spring offerings.

I have owned several Sig DA/SA pistols and really love DA/SA, so I was disappointed in my new HK45?s DA pull. This reduced power spring coupled with an enhanced firing pin block spring has made a great improvement in the gun?s DA pull. The SA was already very good. Great products and quick shipment.

I purchased this spring, arrived within a week and added it to my P30LS 2 days ago. Great addition, not too light but much more comfortable in the DA and no issues. Would recommend if you feel the stock spring is too heavy.

I installed the 11 lb hammer spring in a P30, as well as the light TRS (not the match TRS), and GGI SRT kit (which includes FPBS). The DA pull is 7 to 8 lbs and SA pull is 3 to 3.5 lbs depending on where on the flat trigger shoe I put the gauge. All the mods are totally worth it in my opinion, and the best part is the inexpensive price on the hammer spring. Even if the hammer spring is the only change you make, your trigger pull will improve.

Definitely a nice feeling to pull against this spring versus the stock spring. I highly recommend installing this in your pistol.

Good quality and function, takes seconds to replace the stock hammer spring with this. Two P30 V3?s set up with this and the lighter FPBS dropped from 9# 12 oz to 8# 7 oz, and SA from 4# 9 oz to 3# 6 oz. The difference is very pronounced in DA mode, as the ?stack? at the end of the trigger press is considerably decreased, Both DA and SA action on the two pistols converted were smooth and crisp, and remain so after the conversion. In SA, precision shooting at longer distance is enhanced. There is no effect on reset or trigger travel, and reset remains tactile and crisp. Tested on a wide variety of US and foreign ammo including GECO, S&B, WIN, Federal, CCI, and Fiocchi with zero issues and deep primer strikes. Finally, there was no real change to perceived recoil despite the hammer weight reduction, and no effects noted from slide speed being changed slightly (as in primer smear, etc.). This is a way to improve the out of the box trigger pull for the P30 and does not require any permanent changes to the firearm. For shooters desiring heavier SA weight than I measured, the hammer spring alone will provide some reduction but not as much as with the FPBS added to the conversion.
