The G28 2nd Gen latest style flash hider is threaded 15mm X 1 RH pitch, which is a standard HK Thread Pattern for .308 and .223 caliber weapons. It also has a deep counter bore to allow the product to cover the area behind the threads. Made from ordnance grade steel with a phosphate finish. Made in the USA.

NOTE: Even though the overall length of this is 3.875″ part of that is the threads. As you can only count the threaded area once (threads of the item cover the threads on the barrel) the total ADDED LENGTH to any weapons system’s barrel would be about 3.25″. This item is designed to emulate the new HK G-28 Flash Suppressor found on the Designated Marksman Rifle. Clearly this design is nothing new and is basically a direct copy of the FN Model 30 Sniper Rifle Flash Suppressor. We received so many requests for this style muzzle brake / flash suppressor for the HK MR556 and HK MR762 that we had to help out our loyal customers.
