Installation Instructions: This is a simple straight forward parts swap and can be done in a few minutes. The end result is a much easier mag release and better comfort for mag changes. Highly desirable and one of the cheapest upgrades you can do to your HK pistol.

Simple install: Use a 2.8mm punch to drive out out the roll pin.

HK suggests replacing the roll pin (clamping sleeve) EVERY time you remove any roll pin. Pull down on the mag release gently, remove the spring (replace spring if needed) from the old mag release. Replace the mag release with the new HK 45C mag release. Re-install by compressing the spring in place, and pushing the new roll pin in place.

We have both the 3mm roll pin and the magazine release spring in stock below so grab a few spares. Swap out all of your HK mag releases with this upgraded version. It is the best upgrade for the money on your HK pistol.

Please note: In some cases, the extended magazine release will not engage the jet funnel magazines properly. It is best to use them with standard magazines only on the USP full size pistols.

Please Take Note: That although this mag release will fit all of the HK models listed above this is not an approved modification by HK. This magazine release is designed specifically for the HK45C as the standard OEM magazine release and not a factory upgrade for the HK pistols mentioned above.

This new style magazine release has a steel insert. That makes contact with the magazine catch notch. And if installed on a USP pistol using polymer magazines. The steel contact point can eventually dig into the polymer magazine and cause the magazine fitment to become loose and possibly for mags to fall out.

HK does not approve this modification especially for L.E. use.
