Description
Newly designed and contracted DMR heavy buffer to be added to existing HK G3,91 PTR rifles that have been outfitted to a role as DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) for a specialized unit.
The Improved DMR buffer is the only one of it's kind. That is recognized to be able to reduce recoil by as much as 50% and also fit all standard G3, 91, PTR91, HK93/33 style of firearms. Using the same thickness as the standard G3/91 buffer housing and several improved methods of manufacturing this is the most effective improved buffer available on the market and at the best price anywhere!
The DMR improved buffer is the best choice and a must have improvement for ALL of the following HK firearms: HK91, G3, PTR91 (all variants, types)HK93, 33, 53 (as long as you have a stock with the std buffer to replace)HK21, HK11CETME (when using an HK stock) Other custom builds and clonesAn easy 5 min install when installed on the fixed buttstock.
Just remove the existing standard buffer and replace with the new DMR buffer and you are ready for the range. No modifications needed or required when using the existing fixed (A2) stock.
This buffer has the same outer diameter as the standard stock buffer only 2X as long as the standard buffer. The DMR buffer is also the finest production buffer available for the money. The quality of the buffer itself appears to be very good. The end cap on mine was loose and the springs fell out. I had to tighten the end cap and install with Rocksett to keep it together.

Bought this for my PTR91KF, fits directly into the A2 stock no mods needed. It has 2 springs versus the factory 1 spring so it should do twice as good. I also swapped out the factory flat head screws for the hkparts allen head, and new washers. Install maybe 10 minutes very simple. Now just need to try it out along with the #17 36 degree locking piece I also installed.

Easy install, works amazingly. Put it in a PTR-32 so 7.62x39. Went from recoiling pretty punchy like an overgassed AK down to recoiling like an overgassed AR in 5.56 with a carbine buffer. Pretty astounding difference, glad I got it.

The HK91/PTR platform is a proven design of German engineering with very few flaws, imho of course. Just a few areas of enhancement would include the 'match trigger' upgrade, the 'enhanced buffer' (shown above) and even the rubber buttstock available from this site. Oh yeah, don't the forget the hex buffer screws and accompanying washers as well. What the heck....just buy 'em all.

Got it for my PTR91. Extremely easy installation. Definitely reduced recoil. Only thing I would add is you might include crush washers. I just used the old ones that were on the screws.
